Here, Kitty Kitty! We’re Crushing Hard On The Vans Hello Kitty Collaboration

Lately, we've been peppered with an influx of sneaker collabs that epitomize high-low styling at its finest. But we have to hand it to Vans for coming up with the ingenious idea of having a Sanrio cult character parading all over their slip-ons and high top sneaks. Cue the collective shrieks from Hello Kitty fanatics young and old alike, because we'll be seeing the feline on select Hello Kitty Vans footwear come June. Old-school peeps will want the black and white checkerboard Classic Slip-On, while kids (or kids-at-heart) will gravitate toward the high top sneakers with an all-over print. Either way, be prepared for strangers fawning over your latest "pet."

The Hello Kitty Vans collection will be available at Vans Retail, the Vans online store and Vans dealers nationwide as well as select Sanrio Boutique Stores and Sanrio.com in June 2011. Retail prices will range from $25 for an infant and $37 for a child’s Classic Slip-On to $55 for the unisex Sk8-Hi D-Lo high top sneaker.
