We Tried Runway Makeup IRL

Every Fashion Month, we're bombarded with beauty looks that are meant to inspire us for the upcoming season. Whether it's no-makeup makeup, clumpy mascara, beachy waves, or pin-straight strands, we tend to get stoked about the looks. But, let's be real for a second: Many of them are just plain unwearable. Or, they've been created with products and techniques so out there, we could never imagine test-driving them ourselves.

Since we're all about stepping outside of our comfort zones here at R29 (and love doing things like wearing YouTube-tutorial makeup while strolling the streets of NYC), we posed a challenge to ourselves: Take $30, go shopping, and come back with your version of a Fashion Week moment. The results? Pretty dope, actually.
