H&M’s New Conscious Line Helps Us Channel Our Inner Ballerina

As H&M pushes forward with its eco-friendly initiatives — particularly with its Conscious collections — the retail powerhouse continues to reel us in with its sustainable, low-cost clothing. And, its latest delivery captured our attention with an assortment of clean, simple offerings of closet essentials that are infused with the movement and shapes of modern dance.
Seven pieces comprise the spring lookbook, including track pants, a peplum top, a drop-shoulder sweater, cozy tees, and more. White, gray, and a chic pale-pink color the collection, while fabrics like bamboo fiber, recycled polyester, Lycra, organic cotton, and Tencel blends make up the designs. And, as the silhouettes are quite fluid, they help us channel our inner ballerina — and muster up all the grace we've got.
While other dance-inspired lines might suggest these looks are for inside the studio only, it takes little effort to dress up these versatile pieces (music to our ears!). Simply pile on a statement necklace over the tees, or pair the swing skirt with a crop top and heeled bootie for a quickie transition for a night out. Sashay over to the slides for a first look at the new, feel-good collection.
