J.W. Anderson X Topshop Fete Leaves No Rest For The Fashion Weak

Another night, another party. It seems fashion folk once again turned down staying in, as Monday night brought the J.W. Anderson X Topshop party to London’s Madam JoJo’s. Following a day of hard-core heels and show after show, after show, another glass of bubbly was exactly what we needed to round off a long day.
Debuting at London Fashion Week back in 2007 with the support of NEWGEN and Topshop, the Northern Irish designer, who originally embarked on a career in acting, fast became one of the most talked about of the season. J.W. Anderson for Topshop — which debuted in stores last week — presented a creative selection of paisley prints, plaids, and pinafores, along with a handful of quilted T-shirt designs, which we’ve already spied around Somerset House.
Toasting the launch of the new collaboration, as well as the success of his spring ’13 show earlier that evening, J.W. Anderson, a.k.a. the of-the-minute hotshot, stepped out on the town in London to share the glory with doting artists, editors, and celebs alike. As if the star-studded front row at the show wasn’t enough to give him the royal seal of approval, joining him at the party was Alexa Chung, Daisy Lowe, Delilah, and Pixie Geldof, to name but a few. Shaping up as London’s most-popular DJ, Harley Viera-Newton took to the decks, along with sets from Atlanta de Cadenet and Jerry Bouthier, before live performances from Jessie Ware and Disclosure. Our favorite part about the night, though? The J.W. Anderson X Topshop-branded lollipops we got to take home. Thanks, Jonathan.
