What We Want: Jerome Dreyfuss’ Spot-On Handbags For Fall

Cliché as it sounds, a good bag is hard to find. Our go-to never seems to fit just right — either it doesn’t hold enough and our daily necessities are constantly spilling out all over the subway platform, or it holds more than we need and ends up sitting empty and flat.
But Jerome Dreyfuss, handbag designer to the stars and one half of a power couple involving Isabel Marant, has delivered the answer to our carrier conundrum and has a Goldilocks-esque size for every woman’s needs.
From the large and slouchy Alain bag to the thin and sleek Jojo cross-body, the fall ’12 women's collection features a size and shape just right for any occasion that may arise. Brightened earth tones dominate the collection, but leopard print and finishes ranging caviar to python are what make it difficult for us to decide on just one. The men's group is (sadly for our budgets) equally impressive with the effortlessly easy (but still incredibly chic) Pierre backpack and Diego duffle. Said to be made out of "sail-looking" fabrics, we'd be just as happy seeing them on our boating instructor as we would on our own shoulders.
Both collections will be in stores and online later this year, but until then, feast your eyes on the images available now.
