Jonathan Adler’s New Totes Are An Excuse To Hit The Beach

We'll take any excuse we can get when it comes to getting our bronzed behinds to la playa. So, we're toasting interior god Jonathan Adler (with a skinny margarita, of course) for expanding his mini empire into bags—specifically some rope totes that are guaranteed to make our beach days all the more cute. We spotted these playful satchels at Adler's Design District boutique, and we were immediately drawn to its Overboard vibe, with a nice helping of '70s prep thrown in for good measure. Functional as all get-out, these soft canvas sacks have sturdy handles that are actually big enough to go over your shoulder (we know, we tried), a generous exterior pocket, snap closures to prevent your essentials from flying everywhere, and enough room for a towel or two. Now if only his husband Simon Doonan came in with them...
