Keeping the scuba look alive from his last collection, Australian designer Josh Goot ups the sophistication ante this season, replacing neoprene with a more technical and challenging, silk-bonded foam. Sure, a foam fabric may not normally be on the list of figure-flattering materials, but Goot's versions are something we’ll gladly wriggle into.
Inspired by the Great Barrier Reef, the resort line features coral pinks and Whitsunday blue and digitalized prints of underwater reefs atop fluid hems and shark-tail-shaped silhouettes. For another element of Australian pride, model and muse Bambi Northwood Blyth sports full, bushy brows and slicked-back locks while donning Goot's updated versions of the classics — the bomber jacket gets volumized, the cocktail dress gets cutouts, and the skater skirt gets seriously scubified.
With fluid silhouettes, carefully crafted tailoring, exposed zips, and plastic-buckled belts, the wet-suit wonderboy continues to impress with his stylish take on sporty suits. Click through to spy all the looks.
