KAWS Limited-Edition XX Lightbulb For The Standard Hotel

The lowly lightbulb is getting quite the glowing makeover thanks to collaboration king KAWS. The NYC-based artist, real name Brian Donnelly, has teamed up with (who else?) The Standard Hotel on a series of special-edition light bulbs, on sale now at the Standard Shops here, L.A., Miami, and online. While the price-tag, at $65, isn't exactly comparable to General Electric, they're only 1,000 sets available to buy, meaning, unlike your Ikea lamp, these babies may actually appreciate. Each set has a red, purple, and green filament bulb in KAWS' signature XX mark—perfect for over the bathroom vanity or sans shade on the nightstand for a little X-rated pleasure.
