Keira Knightley To Play Another Iconic Literary Lady: Anna Karenina

Keira Knightley enjoyed such success playing Elizabeth Bennet in Joe Wright’s adaptation of Pride And Prejudice that the two have teamed up again to reimagine another literary classic: Anna Karenina. Knightley will play the title role opposite Jude Law in this Tom Stoppard-penned flick, with Jude Law and Aaron Johnson rounding out the cast as Aleksei Karenin, and Count Vronsky, respectively. While Vivien Leigh and Greta Garbo have played the iconic Anna in previous Hollywood adaptations, we can’t wait to see how Keira handles the Russian role, and will definitely be picking up tickets to see this version in late 2012.
