Brains And Style! The Coveteur Visits NYT Best-Selling Author, Kelly Oxford

Canadian-born, L.A.-dwelling Kelly Oxford is a serious fashion gal. Isabel Marant sneaker wedges, check. Technicolor Dannijo jewels, double check. But, Oxford is also a mother, a New York Times best-selling author, a successful screenwriter, and a Twitter powerhouse (Roger Ebert was a big fan). That's the type of multi-tasker we find crazy amounts inspiring, and precisely why we swooned over The Coveteur's recent visit with the gorgeous writer-slash-fashion-lover.
A storyteller by profession, Oxford's guided tour through her wardrobe is peppered with anecdotes and memory-lane recollections. That one Opening Ceremony dress? Rihanna told her she had a great behind in it at a party one time. That cool coat? It's the silent star of one of her short essays, purchased way back in the seventh grade. But, our favorite part of all this has to be seeing a Coveteur-style edited assortment of accessories with a twist — think a monogrammed Clare Vivier bag and dark Céline sunnies, alongside Oxford's best-selling novel, Everything is Perfect When You're a Liar. Modern women, take note: Your best accessory, season after season, is definitely your accomplishments and your brains. Click through to peep some of our favorite snaps from the tour, and be sure to check out The Coveteur for the full write-up!
