Blotting Papers For Your Hair Are A Thing Now

Hairstylists on the go have been known to use dryer sheets to eliminate frizz, and the trick works. But, if you, like us, aren't thrilled about schlepping around laundry accoutrements, there's a chicer solution: Kérastase just came out with "hairstyle touch-up sheets."
Elegantly named Carré Lissant, these are a lot like blotting papers, but for hair. When wiped on frizzy, dull, or messy locks, they instantly add polish and shine. They also have a light fragrance of grapefruit, roses, and patchouli. And, just like the papers you use to absorb your face grease, these are a one-and-done situation. They're especially convenient for traveling or for times when you need to fix your flyways but don't want to get product on your hands.

While they're a tad more pricey than the laundry staple that inspired them, they deliver results. We love that the thin layer of wax gives a boost of shine while taking care of static: That's more than you could say for dryer sheets. And, as the temps are slowly but surely dropping, our strands will soon need all the help they can get. We're always willing to shell out a little extra in the name of convenient, easy beauty fixes — and these definitely fit the bill.
Kérastase Carré Lissant, $28, available in November at Kérastase.
