If you know the Brooklyn restaurant scene, you know Seersucker, Nightingale 9, and Smith Canteen. They're Smith Street favorites for the fashion set, and that has a lot to do with Kerry Diamond, who owns all three with her chef boyfriend Rob Newton. You probably even know her name — read it in a review of the buzziest new restaurant, heard it whispered in the PR circles of high-power brands like Coach and Lancôme, or maybe even spotted it on the masthead of Harper's Bazaar and WWD. As a previous editor, restaurant entrepreneur, and PR exec, there really isn't an industry this business-savvy Brooklynite hasn't conquered.

It's no surprise then that Diamond's latest venture, biannual foodie magazine Cherry Bombe, has made a splash in the culinary world. Launched a year ago with former Bazaar colleague Claudia Wu, the mag was created to celebrate all the powerful food-focused women who deserve a full magazine spread. With Diamond running a gorgeous glossy and dominating the Carroll Gardens restaurant scene, it's safe to assume we're harboring a major career crush here.

But, a stacked résumé isn't the only reason we're admiring Diamond — it's because she does all of it with serious style. So, naturally, we wanted to know how she's curating her spring wardrobe. Armed with a few key pieces from NYDJ's latest collection, Diamond worked three casual-cool outfits that show off her sartorial chops, though she insists she has yet to nail down her signature look.
