The Simple Leather Sandal: Your Summertime LBD of Footwear

Here in SoCal, we’re super spoiled with a devoted sun that shines down most days of summer (June gloom be damned!). Pretty lucky, right? And it’s a good thing, too, with all of the outdoor activities (catch our L.A.-area camping guide?) rounding out our to-do lists. Wasting time and those precious rays changing outfits and worrying about what to pack? Not us. When the temp heats up, we prefer an M.O. of low maintenance, but never low on luxury (natch).

True, we have our trusty LBD’s and LBW's to rely on. But this summer we’re making a serious argument for the simple leather sandal (henceforth, the SLS — do you think we can we make it sartorially viral?).
