While the accessories from Rodarte's fall show might have been a bit, well, much (think leather suspenders and oversized studded belts), one accessory did speak to us from the catwalk: those cool, mixed-metal necklaces that have a total "badass chick" vibe. Paired with a graphic tee, the chunky chain gives off that laid-back-yet-tough look we love.

But, to get the piece without throwing down the big bucks, we hit the local hardware store and picked up a Master lock for a similar and more cost-effective option. So easy to make, this piece literally takes five minutes to put together. And, the best part about it? You can actually lock up something on the go — just don't throw away the key.
