With the exception of Kate Middleton, we don't have too many modern-day princesses whose style we talk about in everyday conversation. Be it a sign of the times or simply our love for street style, a recent editorial lensed by Frances Tulk-Hart made us wonder what a princess, circa 2013, would look like...if she lived in New York...and took public transportation. (Well, sometimes)
In this
Madame France feature, snapped in the Big Apple, Tulk-Hart and stylist Virginie Dhello found inspiration in another regal figure: the late Grace Kelly. While both model and muse posses a captivating charm, ladylike style, and flaxen-blonde locks, this new royal caricature is one who's not afraid to shake her crown off.
Letting her hair (half-way) down, picking flowers from a garden we're not sure is her own, running in heels, wearing silk gloves in the daylight (on a bus!) — we suspect this Kelly is a little more rebel than royal. And we kinda love it.
