The Next Big Things: Meet The MADE For Peroni Fashion Week Finalists

We admit, it's the biggest, most established names that typically earn the buzz at New York Fashion Week. But, that's really only a part of next week's fun. We'd be remiss not to keep our eyes peeled for the newcomers and the next big things. And, thanks to Peroni and MADE Fashion Week, we know where to look first.

In its second year, the two have teamed up for the annual MADE for Peroni Young Designer Awards. The one-day event will allow five up-and-coming talents to present their designs to a panel of judges, including Coco Rocha, Zanna Roberts Rassi, Jenne Lombardo, Antonio Berardi, and Nolan Bellavance. The finalist who impresses this discerning crew walks away with $20,000, plus an additional $20,000 to put toward developing their collection to present at MADE Fashion Week in February '14 — a pretty solid investment in the future of his or her brand if you ask us.

While we'll have to wait until September 10 to find out whose designs best wowed the crowd, we have a peek at the five finalists, ahead. These following five names may still be gunning for the grand prize and winning title, but their designs could just earn them instant Fashion Week fame.
