Our Madewell Jeans Journey Kicks Off With An NYC Party—Were You There?

We've teamed up with our denim BFF, Madewell, on a cross-country "Jeans Journey" that would make Lewis and Clark jealous. First stop? NYC of course! Last night we gathered our nearest and dearest for a party at Madewell's Soho store, where guests like Rachel Comey, The Huffington Post's Anya Strzemien, Fashionolgie's Tommye Fitzpatrick, and Madewell's own Gigi Guerra got in the shopping mode with make-your-own Bloody Marys and beats by Au Revoir Simone's Erika Forster. Mixed in with our fave wide-legger and high-riser jeans (all at 20% off!) were some choice vintage goods curated by Gigi and R29's EIC Christene Barberich, who also helped style the fashion forward guests. On the way out we scooped up some custom-made makeup bags—who knows, we may use them on the trails next stop...Los Angeles anybody?
