While American Apparel ads have always stirred up considerable controversy, and Calvin Klein billboards stop traffic, no campaign can make us stare as much as Manhattan Mini Storage's tongue-in-cheek adverts. Though the left-leaning slogans can err on the provocative side (witness the not so veiled references to abortion), the majority are just ridiculously funny (we've been asked twice to take tourists pictures in front of the "storing at your parents means having to visit" mass transit one). So we're not surprised that we're doubling over from their spring '11 rollout, which we first peeped at Ad Week. Though in some consumers' eyes, they may have gone too far by insulting The Mets, we're willing to take it with a large grain of salt. What do the good folk of Des Moines think...?
