Mara Hoffman’s Carnival-Colored Lookbook Is Instagram Gold

Move over Hamptons. We have our eyes set on the Catskills for New York’s most Insta-worthy getaway. Mara Hoffman shot her resort '15 swim collection at this Cottekill "fun house," which makes us feel like we’re seeing life in Technicolor for the very first time. On a recent trip to Guatemala, Hoffman was inspired by the country’s aesthetic, which mirrors her love of vibrant colors and geometric prints. When she and the lookbook’s photographer, Olivia Malone, stumbled upon this colorful abode in upstate New York, it's safe to say it was an instant rainbow connection.
The home, affectionately known as "Calico," belongs to ex-Brooklynites Kat O’Sullivan and Mason Brown, who decided to create their own 16-acre Bohemian oasis after having lived in a rundown urban apartment. With hand-painted murals and school buses full of patchwork quilts, it was the perfect location to create Mara’s "Circo Màgico" shoot (no filter necessary).
While you won’t be able to buy or rent the property anytime soon, Hoffman’s latest designs, which range from checkered bodysuits to multicolor fringe cover-ups, are available now, and they're definitely #OOTD-post worthy.
