There's no better combo than fashion and film (we could watch Grace Kelly in To Catch A Thief a bajillion times). Lucky for you, the two mediums are coming together at the annual lesbian and gay film festival, Newfest. This year, Marc Jacobs is sponsoring the jubilee, which makes sense in light of his recent strip-down. Starting today you can hail a cab to Chelsea's SVA theater to catch a glimpse of some of this year's works that range from raunchy to thought-provoking (and often both). The sexiest flick may just be
Howl
, starring smokin' duo Jon Hamm and James Franco. But that's just the tip of the iceberg: With over 100 films to choose from, we thought we'd do you a favor and provide three gems that can't be missed. Bonus points if you see Marc Jacobs with his shirt off!

1. Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls: This crazy but true tale chronicles two yodeling twins (who happen to also be lesbian farm girls) that become national superstars and LGTB activists.
2. Beautiful Darling: Andy Warhol superstar transvestite Candy Darling is brought to life in this doc featuring interviews with John Waters, Paul Morrissey, and Jayne County interspersed with thrilling imagery from The Factory era. Her motives and story are given added dimension as her own words are brought to life by actress Chloë Sevigny who reads from Candy's private letters and diaries.
3. Violet Tendencies: This gay rom-com is like a feature-film version of Queer As Folk, centered around "the oldest living fag-hag," Violet. From acclaimed director Casper Andreas, the flick has some hilarious cameos from a ton of NYC personalities.

Newfest: June 3-June 13; SVA Theatre; 333 West 23rd Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues); 212-592-2980
