Long gone are the days when the words "personal style blog" conjured up the amateurish, homespun vibe of a girl playing dress-up and taking bathroom selfies. Case in point? The insanely stylish Marie Hindkaer Wolthers of R29 daily read Blame It On Fashion.
Danish-born and London-based, Wolthers humbly describes her signature style as "simple dressing with kick-ass accessories,” but it's so much more than that: Her effortlessly minimalist, sleek style is just so, well, Scandinavian. Between her addictive daily outfit posts and the editorial-level eye for fashion that she brings to her recently launched online mag, Luelle, Wolthers is a woman poised to take her place among the Natalie Jooses and Hannelis of the world.
All of which means, of course, that we had to get her trade secrets. We asked Wolthers to style her favorite fall piece: the oversized, menswear-style blazer. And, boy, did she deliver: giving us three, jaw-droppingly chic looks. Each perfectly set off by a color-coordinated Moto X by Motorola (she wasn't kidding about those kick-ass accessories).
