We Want Everything In The Marks & Spencer Spring Collection

Brit High-Street retailer Marks & Spencer reveals a high-design makeover for its spring '14 collection. The iconic shopping emporium has, in recent years, become better known for its tried-and-tested wardrobe basics rather than making a splash with trend-led fashion items. But, all that is changing. Belinda Earl, in her new role as style director, has kick-started a chain reaction that resulted in an incredible AW’13 collection. Frankly, it took our breath away. Remember that pink coat?
The new season promises to be no different. The pieces are a bold interpretation of the runways’ strongest themes. Think white, mannish tailoring, sorbet hues, and sporty cuts. The emphasis is on separates, which means that while the look book focuses on outfits that are really very stylized, it is easy to see how these clothes can be mixed and matched for everyday wear. A cropped navy jacket worn with an oversize white blouse and skirt would look just as good over a shift dress or with a Breton top and boyfriend jeans. Seriously, if we could press the fast forward button on our life and snap these up here and now, we’d do it.
