It’s summertime, and the living’s easy, so kick off your weekend early and check out The Metropia Experience, a festival highlighting Chicagoland musicians and artists, emerging technologies, and local charities and social causes. This Thursday and Friday, Metropia will take over Ravenswood with its impressive selection of talent, and that other Chicago staple, delicious food. We’re particularly excited to catch headlining band Santah, whose musical stylings have been praised by the Chicago Reader and Time Out Chicago, among others. And if the promise of watching the next big thing isn’t enough to lure you in, portions of the proceeds will benefit the Chicago-based Bully Police Squad and the Chicago Sound Alliance WLUW.
