Sun and sand and...massive amounts of stress? Apparently that's what's on the docket for the Magic City. According to CNBC, the Sunshine State isn't all that sunny, and MIA denizens are some of the most frazzled in America. According to a number of factors, which include high divorce rates, commute times, unemployment, violent crime, property crime, suicides, alcohol consumption, mental health concerns, sleep troubles, and a handful of cloudy days, Miami is the third most-stressed city in America. Oy.
Only preceded by Tampa and Las Vegas, Miami is chock-full of property crime (graffiti, probably) and violent crime...but for some reason, the city appears in the lower percentile for alcohol consumption. Perhaps somebody fudged the numbers? Check out all the data and weigh in below. Tell us: how stressed are you feeling these days? (CNBC)
