Happy (almost) Earth Day, earthlings! In honor of this annual event, I’m raising an upcycled glass to one of my favorite new lines, Mina + Olya. The label not only produced one of the most stunning F/W '14 collections I've seen, but also makes environmentally friendly clothing that looks as fresh as the trees and flowers we'll all be planting on April 22.
We often have to choose between style and sustainability – well, not here. This is high fashion at its finest. While its S/S ’14 range focused on natural colors — think warm sunsets and cool, ocean blues — the fall/winter showing channels post-Depression-era fashion. Classic pieces, including hearty, menswear-inspired coats and silky, slip dresses with seductive thigh slits, carried over from the previous collection. Take a peek at both lines up ahead. You'll be able to keep these quality pieces forever — or recycle them for others to enjoy for years to come.
