Skull Jewelry We Actually Like (Note: It’s Not Blingy)

Brooklyn jewelry house Odette New York's newest line, Minerva Divinus, was inspired by ancient mythology and divine proportions—and it shows. The collection of necklaces, bangles, and earrings, all in hammered gold and silver, has a rough symmetry to it that borders on the primordial. The shapes are skeletons of last season's statement pieces, but with none of the frills: this is jewelry in its most distilled form. That's not to say that the simplicity is uninteresting; any one (or all) of these shiny numbers would be the icing on top of a perfect evening outfit. All of the pieces are available online and range in price from $60 to $380.
