Viva Geometry! This Brooklyn-Based Jewelry Line Will Last A Lifetime

Few things liven up an outfit like minimalist, geometric jewelry, so we've got a hunch that Brooklyn local Jeanette Lai Thomas' handcrafted debut collection, Moratorium, will be our go-to provider for wear-with-everything pieces come fall.
Culling inspiration from the Egyptian pyramids' complex feats of engineering and simplistic structure, Thomas' signature shape is the cut-away pyramid, creating a geometric skeleton of sorts. The line — for men and women — is already sparking buzz for its attention to detail and handmade design, welded exclusively in precious metals, which are sourced for their longevity (and lust-factor!). Thomas added to Vogue that she prefers to work with these materials because "true quality and workmanship should stand the test of time." Kind of like the Great Pyramids, right?
Moratorium will be hitting Occulter some time in the next two weeks and will be sold at Opening Ceremony come fall, so be ready to buy, buy, buy and then wear, well, forever.
