The holiday season might be in full swing, but
Myne’s spring '12 lookbook has us a pining for one of those rad 95-degree L.A. December days, just so we can go on a desert adventure in neon pink pants (No? You don’t do that?). Myne designer Ashley Ann has that SoCal gal aesthetic down to a T, so when she teamed up with Katy Perry’s stylist Johnny Wujek for this lookbook, we knew it was a match made in heaven. Shot in the desert and poolside, we’re seriously smitten by just about everything in this collection – especially those high-waisted baby blue shorts and that lemon mini-dress with white embroidery in back (swoon!). We caught up with Johnny, and he spilled on his inspiration, his obsession with holiday sweaters, and what it's like working with Nicki Minaj!

His inspo when it came to styling this collection:
"The strong prints were my main focus and inspiration for the lookbook. The objective was to present these bright and vivid prints in a desert setting where the natural beauty of the backdrop would complement the collection. Ashley and I had long conversations regarding the feel and look we wanted to evoke since this was our very time working together. I'm happy to say that I love the outcome!”

On what's up next:
"I am continuing to style Katy and I just started working with Nicki Minaj, which I am excited about! Styling the lookbook for Myne was a fun experience, and something I would definitely do again."

On the subject of awesomely bad holiday sweaters:
“I love ugly sweater parties, so definitely a yes to ugly sweaters. The uglier the better!”
