There was an overall brightness to Jennifer and John's wedding, which I simply loved. The weather in St. Helena, Napa Valley, was perfect, with just the right amount of light to make great photos. The white walls of the bridal room seemed to reflect joy, and the natural setting of the venue added to the simple beauty of the day. However, it was the people — the bride and groom, and their families — who just seemed to glow, and their presence is what made this day magical.
Jennifer and John searched all over California wine country for the perfect wedding venue, and they found it in Durham Ranch. There were so many little details that went into the wedding. Jennifer wore the same earrings her sister-in-law wore at her wedding to the rehearsal dinner, and the wedding-day earrings were a gift from John during their first Christmas together. The bouquet was made of dried flowers from the bride's mother's wedding-day bouquet, and there were new, special wedding-day handkerchiefs to dry up the wet eyes resulting from the moving speeches.
