Would You Try This New Must-Have Haircut?

We've seen the baby bob make serious strides in Hollywood lately, and lobs have been on the scene full-force. But, for those hair rebels among us looking to stray from the crowd, there's apparently a (new?) cut in town: the swag.
The name, coined by celebrity stylist Sunnie Brook, is short for "swing shag." It involves long layers with peekaboo bangs — a look originally made cool by Patti Smith, and now being adopted by the likes of Alexa Chung and Freja Beha Erichsen.
According to Brook, if you've already fallen into the lob trend, you can easily transform it into this textured, layered 'do. "It's a great transition from the lob, as you feel like your hair got long and playful overnight with the weight transition in the cut," Brook told Byrdie. "Also, your blowdry time will be cut in half.” A haircut that makes daily styling easier? Okay, we're convinced.
Head over to Byrdie to learn more about the swag — styling tips included. (Byrdie)
