Without a doubt, our appreciation for the art of dance runs deep. Delicate costumes, intricate choreography, beautiful people...what's not to love? And, in New York City, the number of ballet, modern, musical theatre, and hip-hop (and more!) performances is ever-growing. The endless list of options can often be overwhelming, but fear not! R29's dancing ladies are here to help.
With over thirty years of dance history, New York Theatre Ballet strives to inspire audiences through chamber ballet masterpieces, bold new works, and captivating hour-long ballets for children. The company is committed to making dance accessible by performing all around the United States, offering affordable classes, and supporting talented homeless and underserved children. This weekend, NYTB will be hosting its second installment of Legends and Visionaries: Program at the Florence Gould Hall.
The program will include choreography by dance innovators Jerome Robbins, Antony Tudor, and others, as well as the debut of new pieces by Pam Tanowitz. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster, granting you access to an evening of beauty, art, and grace.
