Exhibit A: The annual Notting Hill Carnival, a dizzying spectacle of hip-shaking music, dancers decked out in feathered headgear, and generous portions of jerk chicken and rum cocktails, all in celebration of West Indian culture.
The two-day street party kicks off this Sunday and Monday, August 25 and 26, with countless after-parties guaranteed to keep the celebrating going 'til dawn.
