To cap off our loud and proud Month of Sound Stars series — a collection of our favorite stylish musicians, which you simply must check out — we took over the Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren store at University Place the other night, bringing our friends, turntables, and, yes, a lot of noise.
With Sound Star Eleanor Friedberger taking over DJ duties and rising rockers Drowners in attendance, R29 staff and readers mingled, mixed, and did a little shopping between styling sessions with our own associate fashion editor, Willow Lindley, and shopping market director, Marissa Rosenblum. Lots of Bushmills-powered cocktails and Zipz wine helped loosen the mood and made posing for the Bosco just that much more fun. When Friedberger finished her set, all our new (and old) friends filed out, smiles and new denim in tow.
