Spring is finally in the air. The walk from our apartments to the nearest subway station has gotten surprisingly more pleasant, and our winter coats have officially been stuffed into the back of our closets. Getting dressed in the morning has become way less painful, and our outfits (thankfully) involve way less layers.
To celebrate the arrival of long-awaited warmer temps and sunshine, we put commuters on the F and L trains (two of the city's busiest subway lines) head-to-head for the ultimate spring style showdown. What we learned: New York women love jumpsuits, flared denim, and loose-fitting frocks, especially once the thermometer rises above 60 degrees.
Ahead, see 20 New Yorkers who make commuting look so good (including a special appearance from the coolest style star in the game, Tavi herself!).
