Opening Ceremony Loves Japan Right with Boom Boom Benefit Blowout

Opening Ceremony packed the Boom Boom Room this weekend, throwing a benefit blowout to show some support for Japan. The "Help Japan" event, hosted by Humberto Leon, Carol Lim, Jen Brill, Rinko Kikuchi, Olivia Kim, and Justin Theroux, featured OC T-shirts and a whole host of raffle items that featured prizes from the likes of Balenciaga, Chanel, The Smile, The Odeon, and The Standard—all of which raised money for the post-tsunami and earthquake relief efforts for the American Red Cross. MCs Lesley Arfin and Greg Nice kept the crowd—which included the likes of Daphne Guinness, Nicola Formichetti, Charlotte Ronson, Derek Blasberg, and Spike Jonze—guessing as they read out the winners all night long. Party people kept busy between announcements by d-d-dancing the night away to tunes spun by DJs Stretch Armstrong, Sky Ferreira, and Roctakon.
