When news broke last month that MAC was creating a special Miss Piggy collection in honor of the new Muppets movie, we found ourselves torn — part of us was psyched to see just how crazy the makeup would be (and if it would be on par with the Muppets nail polishes), but we worried that none of it would be wearable for the non-Muppets among us.
After the unveiling of the official Miss Piggy for MAC collection campaign though, we can safely say that our concerns were completely unfounded. While the visuals for the line, which hits next week, are predictably flashy (Miss Piggy looks like a long-lost member of Kiss), the products themselves are surprisingly demure — nothing like the glittery, showy, awesomely over-the-top OPI Muppet colors that are also being released this month. So what's in Miss Piggy's makeup bag? A girly pink eyeshadow, black liquid liner and a lush set of false lashes, naturally.
Will you say "oui" to Miss Piggy for MAC, or give it a "hi-ya!" karate chop?
