The 10 Dresses We WANT To See At The Oscars

It's been a fun ride, kiddos: On Sunday, the Academy Awards will mark the final stop on the 2015 awards-season train. By then, we'll have had enough tulle-swooshing and sartorial rule-breaking to tide us over until the next red-carpet rodeo. But, on the biggest night of the year for many actors and actresses, we're hoping to see a little fashion history-making: celebrities breaking the designer-exclusive hold on awards fashion by showing some of our favorite brands some love. 

We're not just talking fast-fashion favorites like Zara and H&M; Free People and Topshop Unique also produce red-carpet-grade ensembles for less than a month's rent. It has been done before — most recently, by Olivia Wilde in a sleek H&M suit at SNL's 40th-anniversary festivities — but it's still a rarity. We had high hopes for the Golden Globes, but no dice. Still, we'll dare to dream anyway: See the 10 Oscars-ready gowns we picked out for different starlets who are set to attend the ceremony.
