20 + Party Pics From Our Dapper Dude-Filled Bash With Onassis

By now, we're sure you know that when it comes to menswear shopping and Soho, our first (and sometimes only) stop is Onassis. Filled with a versatile range of closet staples and more fashion-forward items, the timeless-not-tired, refined American aesthetic is equally applicable to a fall Sunday sailing in Westport or a mini road-trip in a vintage Triumph up to Dia:Beacon. Plus, we love how shocked our friends are when they go in to browse and end up buying hard—they can't believe the affordability given the obvious quality and craftsmanship on offer. Now that we've finished waxing rhapsodically, we're going to let you do the same. On Thursday night, we pretty much wrecked our Friday morning with a birthday party celebrating the Greene Street store's one-year anniversary, co-hosted by us, complete with a presentation of Onassis' spring '12 collection, the first complete range designed by the brand's new creative director, Andreu David. Besides the correct models (and the very, very dapper party guests), we couldn't help use the notepad on our Blackberry to write down our wish-list—that red blazer is numero uno. And, after partaking of the copious cocktails from The Original Moonshine, we may have ended up laying down our credit card for pre-order. It's one tipsy purchase we know we won't regret.
Click through for an exclusive sneak-peek of the collection, plus our favorite snapshops of kitted-out revelers. Who says the dapper gentleman is dead?
