Tour Proenza’s Boutique Opening Party (Plus Some Incredible PS Gossip)

Proenza Schouler, loved by many a downtown gal-about-town, ruffled a few feathers when they set up camp on Madison Avenue in July. While we personally will travel to all ends of the earth for a wait-listed piece of Proenza, some...well, they won't go above 14th Street. Now, it seems downtown-dwellers may get their piece of the Proenza pie sooner than expected — our dear friends at Paper Mag bring word straight from Proenza's Fashion Week party that lower Manhattan may be next on the list. "We want to do a downtown store," said designer Jack McCollough. "We've got to have both. Our [clothes] are always about that mix."
The rumor mill had previously been swirling about a possible outpost in an international market, but when the mag asked about whether NYC would take the top spot, Jack replied: "Yeah, perhaps before [international]. Maybe a couple of things simultaneously. We want to start getting our feet in the door in Asia and Europe, obviously. We'd love to do a store in Paris or London."
While we're overjoyed at this news, it's important not to put all of our PS1s in one basket. So, until we hear more, get your fix of Lazaro and Jack here, with our pics of their star-studded NYFW party at the UES boutique. After all, is there anything their adorable faces can't fix? Besides that price tag.
