Sometimes, it seems like the grass is always greener on the other side. Come winter, we long for bikinis and sunshine, then on the first days of June, weather justifying a wooly coat starts calling our names. In the throes of a nationwide heat wave, Rachel Antonoff's fall '11 lookbook may be just the wintry refreshment you need. Rife with bows and kitty motifs, the new collection is cutesy in the best way possible. In keeping with the Antonoff tradition of using real girls instead of models, photographer Lindsey Byrnes shot friend and Teen Vogue beauty blogger Laurel Pantin at a miniature horse farm in New Jersey. The rural, snowy landscape is a perfectly dreamy backdrop for clothes that bring to mind a city girl's almost tongue-in-cheek trip to the country. Deep, saturated hues play off of muted tapestry prints, and a mesh-backed satin party dress adds a little sex appeal to this girlish array of frocks. Suffice it to say this lookbook will have us dreaming, if unseasonably, of the perfect outfit for holiday parties.
