Last Weekend Was Like The Real World But With Models

You know that famous intro. It's like, "Watch what happens when seven strangers live in a house together and have their lives taped." Well, before last weekend, we only knew what that felt like secondhand. That is, until we spent time in Montauk at the #R29BeachHouse with surf-and-skate label RVCA and its bevy of brand advocates. There, models and artists met for the first time and bonded over one thing: their love of all things RVCA (btdubs, that's pronounced Roo-ka for the uninitiated).
Models Ashley Smith and Mahina Alexander were joined by artists Nina Long, Michelle Blade, and Kylea Borges, and photographer Ashley Barker for a weekend of horseback riding, fishing, and, of course, some good ol' RVCA surfing. Yes, it was kind of like an activity-heavy paradise. Especially since that meant some serious hang time with one another, a 30-pound bass, and some surf pros, too. And, we have the pics to show you how it all went down. We'd like to say there was as much drama as the Real World house, but the only quarrels had were those over who was going to wear which RVCA bathing suit, and the gear was there in spades. Click through for gorgeous pics that only look like photo-shoot sets (yes, this was real life), and stay tuned for the video to launch next week.
