There’s
something pretty romantic about skipping the stress of wedding planning and
hightailing it straight to the courthouse. This is especially true when the venue in question happens to be as ornate and breathtaking as San Francisco’s City Hall.
So, when we saw
photos of Bay Area couple Jaymie Eaton and her fiancé, Hector, sharing vows under
its iconic, decorative dome, we knew we had to spread the love. The two met
in San Francisco and chose the spot for its simplicity. They rented the gorgeous, fourth-floor balcony for a more intimate, private ceremony.
"It's so stunning, it needed nothing to make it wedding-day
ready," Eaton tells us. "We had every intention of making it a super-small
and simple event, without a strict itinerary or conventionality. We didn't have
a grand entrance, just a ton of love and eucalyptus and Champagne and macarons!"
In addition
to the loving moments captured by photographer Anna-Alexia Basile, we also couldn’t
help but gawk over the bride’s sleek Stone Cold Fox dress (which she just so
happened to score at Loho Bride) and wild, overgrown bouquet.
