Well, it may look like a dream home, but this little slice of SoCal heaven is blogger and photographer Sarah Yates' day-to-day reality. Lucky duck.

As we walked through the peaceful, minimalist home that Yates shares with her husband, we were struck by more than a few familiar sights. After all, we've been following her blog, A House in the Hills, and pinning beautiful images from her wedding-photography site, Birds of a Feather, for quite some time. But — surprise, surprise — this lifestyle wiz has been on a decorating binge, tricking out her place with a few modern heirlooms, inexpensive gets from Target, and unexpected, exquisite design finds.
