Live A Little: 3 Seapunk-Inspired Outfits For The Over-15 Set

Dolphins, rainbows, and unicorns — oh my! While you might think we're describing our favorite Lisa Frank folders from the early '90s, we're actually talking about the imagery of the new fashion movement making its way from the underground to the mainstream (thanks to stars like Azealia Banks and Rihanna), known as seapunk. Originally an electronic-music craze, seapunk style is a technicolor melange of all things fanciful, but, while we love digital prints of mermaids basking their dip-dyed hair in starlight, we can't exactly start showing up to work in outfits that remind us of our teenage stationery. So, we did our homework and found some killer ways to incorporate the seapunk style into our closets without feeling as though our heads are in outer space (or, perhaps, more accurately, under the sea).
