Thanks to the unseasonably warm temps, we've said adios to all of our heavy winter layers a little early. And in just a matter of weeks, we'll watch the majority of the world catch up to us and slowly shift from moody black and snowy whites back to Technicolor shades of everything in between.
It's this exact seasonal transition has been a major inspiration for Oakland-based designer darling, Jennifer Jennings of Serial Cultura. Particularly when it comes to her just-launched spring '12 collection. Crafted out of organic and sustainable fabrics, Jennings says the line was a nod to "aerial landscapes: farms, crops, and the patterns from trees and plants." In addition to that, her hallmark hand-drawn patterns and hand-painted prints draw from the rich hues of sunsets, minerals, and deserts. Take a look at her dreamy lookbook after the jump and book your trip to Marfa, stat.
