It may have been Michael Kors' resort collection where we first spotted the trend of pants that completely hide your shoes. But, like learning the word "schadenfreude" and suddenly hearing it everywhere, once we started seeing this trend, we couldn't stop.
Nearly every designer showed dramatically long, flared pants this season, making the shoe-gobbler one of the few trends to consistently emerge from resort (a season not commonly known for setting trends — or for featuring massive amounts of fabric, for that matter).
