We broke the news a couple of months ago:
Shotwell
is packing up its Union Square digs and moving down to the currently on-fire Mission 'hood. And now we finally have the exact address of the new shop. Drumroll, please... The new storefront will be located at (perhaps logically) 307 Shotwell Street, between 17th and 18th streets. For those of you unacquainted with the Mission, Shotwell Street—where husband-and-wife owners Holly and Michael Weaver live and originally opened their shop—is just two-and-a-half blocks away from the bustling Valencia strip. Interestingly enough, the new store will be housed in the Shotwell Armory, a space with roots dating back to WWII that was also the original venue for Shotwell's first shop in 2008 when it was a pop-up, by-appointment-only vintage store. While Shotwell continues to restore the Shotwell Armory before its big move, the boutique will be winding down business at its Union Square location, which will shut its doors on June 27, and is currently offering up to 80% off discounts on everything in stock.
