This Brit Brand Gave Faux Fur A Colorful Makeover (& We Love It)

When R29's fashion editors talk about Shrimps, we don't mean the crustacean. We're actually referring to Hannah Weiland's newly launched faux-fur label that goes by that name. Taking inspiration from witticisms of modern art and playfully fusing them into her wildly colorful collection of fur-effect coats and bags, the London-based designer is quickly making a name for herself among the fashion elite. And, with tons of celebrities shunning real-deal iterations for more animal-friendly varieties (ahem, Khloe Kardashian), there's definitely a huge market for Weiland to further showcase her rising talent.
Even though you can only purchase the colorful pieces at select stockists — like Opening Ceremony and Avenue 32 — we're calling it now: Shrimps is an It Brit brand in the making and definitely one to watch. Sweet, fluffy, and colorful — honestly, what's not to love? Don a furry number of your own without the guilt and in hues that will totally squash your winter blues, too. Click through to view the totally rad lookbook, which features tons of cool artwork, fuzzy numbers, and, oh yes, the most adorable puppy ever. Puppies? We're sold.
