Skotison may be new on the NYC design scene, but its masterminds are already industry veterans. All together, Skotison designers Chelsea Goldman and Alyssa Lesser have worked at Narciso Rodriguez, Celine, Proenza Schouler, Vena Cava, Ralph Lauren, and Marc Jacobs. So believe us when we say we trust their well-styled aesthetic, which is especially reminiscent of Vena Cava and Marc Jacobs with a twist of Proenza Schouler. And that's just their first go-round for spring '14!
The wares mix London's style sensibility with the edge of downtown New York. There's a denim-on-denim outfit that works for all seasons, uniquely tapered dresses we can't wait to wear to an event, and a dress-over-jeans look that's not too hard to pull off. Best of all, the label is throwing a pre-shop trunk show this Saturday, October 5, from 12 to 6 p.m. at 31 E. 79th street.
