Hot New Opening: The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort Is Ridiculous!

st regis - post
People come from all over the world to spend big bucks at all the designer stores located inside Bal Harbour Shops. So, it’s strange to think that an appropriately luxurious hotel hasn't opened in the area — until now. The new St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort is the first big-brand hotel to move into the village. And yes, it’s everything you’d expect and more, from the uber-luxe hospitality group.
Toronto-based duo Yabu Pushelberg is responsible for the glam décor (think large-rock crystal chandeliers and mirrored furniture) found in both the common areas and the 243 rooms. Speaking of the rooms…a temporary abode will cost you anything from $675 to $30,000 a night. And no, that's not an extra zero.

But hey, a hefty price tag is to be expected when you’re staying inside a beachfront, glass-encased tower that comes complete with Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s J&G Grill and a Remède Spa. Oh, now you get it.
